Brrr! hasn’t it been chilly lately! But why not rock a bright but autumnal colour. With all the leaves falling over the past few weeks I was inspired to go for these lovely oranges:
Itsy ‘No Fear’
El Corazon ’14 Shimmer’
Zoya – ‘Dhara’

Wow, it’s been a while since I last posted, I have been without my laptop since 22nd October and basically had a nightmare having it repaired but I am back now to show you a few of the themed manis which I created over this time – the others can wait until further posts.

Today I have for you a gel polish alternative by new brand Itsy Nails London. Their gel effect polishes are a non-toxic (5 Free & cruelty free) formula which can last up to five days. The brand was started by makeup artist Diana Taguchi and entrepreneur Paul Pannu who wanted to create a brand which encourages self expression and creativity that doesn’t compromised quality or affordability.
I was sent three colours to try out:
Orange – ‘No Fear’
Lilac/Grey – ‘City Girl’
Yellow – ‘Mellow Yellow’
The formulation was very smooth and went on well, the yellow & grey/lilac covered in two coats and the orange in three. It was ultra glossy and didn’t really need a top coat but I used one for longevity more than anything.
To create this mani I decided to use all three colours together, I thought they looked quite contemporary. I wanted to do some reverse stamping on my ring finger using my new plate from Yourscosmetics called ‘Modern Geometry‘. I stamped onto my stamping mat using a white stamping polish and then filled in the triangles with the three colours using a tiny dotting tool. I then waited for this to dry and applied it to my ring finger.
The Itsy polishes retail at £5.99 each but are currently available on their website at 3 for £15 using the code: Autumn.
