aint they beautiful! and oooh! a Geode Latte!

and now it’s made it’s way to nails. Here is my interpretation, I hope that you like them:

My all time favourite Nail Polish

Yes I own literally hundreds of polishes but this is just so beautiful that it hands down beats everything I own.

Tonic Polish – ‘Dragon Tears’

Made with a scattered holographic multitone pigment, the colour shifts through green, blue, purple, red & peach and even looks copper at some angles and also has a spattering of tiny silver holo micro glitter to finish off the look – not too many, just the perfect amount as to not dull the colour shift. The consistency is pretty thin so it flows on nicely and three coats result in a smooth, brushstroke free finish. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m pretty sure that it would look equally stunning over black or a dark colour to create a different look.

If you haven’t come across ‘Tonic’ before I highly recommend that you check them out they have such unusual shades you will fall in love. They haven’t been around all that long – I believe that they started trading last year but it is my belief that they are definitely ones to watch!

EDK Medusa

Introducing Esmaltes da Kelly ‘Medusa’ from the ‘Ultra Holo Collection’. As you know I am sucker for sparkle so when I saw this collection I had to buy more than one! These polishes are actually for stamping but they work just as well as a nail polish and they cover in just one coat (although I have used two here). ‘Medusa’ is a gorgeous violet holo purple and on two of the nails I have used glitter from ‘Born Pretty’ and stamped over the top in the same colour – unfortunately it doesn’t show up well in this photo.

Most of this range are currently sold through Nail-Artisan and can be purchased here.

The four colours available are translucent bright colours with a sheer jelly gloss finish. They are also scented with fruity scents so that adds to the fun of these. The colours are as follows:

Cherry Drop

Orange Fizz

Pink Candy

Purple Pop

I have used three coats adding white dots in different places and on different coats to achieve this effect

They are currently available here on a – Buy one, get a second half price deal.
