Green snowflake nails

So, it seems that it has been snowing all over the U.K except here in Surrey ūüė¶ I love snow days and my three year old has been so excited in anticipation but no… none has arrived. So, instead, I thought I’d have a go at a snowy mani to get me into the Christmassy mood.

I used the following:

Green polish¬†& stamping – Moyou London ‘Olive Tree

Glitter – Glam Polish ‘An unexpected Journey

White Flakes – Nails Inc ‘Kensington Church Street

White polish & stamping – Twinkled T ‘Glow Up

Stamping plates – Born Pretty ‘BP LOO8‘ &¬†‘BP LOO6

Do you have snow where you are?

Tonic Polish ‘Peacock Parade’ manicure

Hello, I am back again with more from my current favourite brand – Tonic Polish. Now this time they have outdone themselves once again and I love this even more than ‘Dragon Tears’ and that’s saying something! Unfortunately this colour ‘Peacock Parade’ isn’t available in the U.K. I had to purchase it through a group buy so I only had one chance to snag it and I’m so glad that I did.

It is a beautiful multi chrome which shifts from dark purple through navy, teal, aqua and green but when you are in the shade it also appears rusty and bronze! It took three coats to cover fully and considering that this stuff is like gold dust I was hesitant – but it was so worth it.

It did chip slightly after a couple of days, but that wouldn’t put me off using it again and again. I’m in love!

‘Summer Sprinkles’ Flower Nails

Light Pink – China Glaze ‘Diva Bridge’

Dark¬†Pink – Leighton Denny ‘Pink Promenade’

Green – Essie ‘Navigate Her’

Lilac – Models Own ‘Lilac Sheen’

Grey¬†– Models Own ‘Lunar Grey’

Yellow – Nails Inc ‘Spitalfields’

My all time favourite Nail Polish

Yes I own literally hundreds of polishes but this is just so beautiful that it hands down beats everything I own.

Tonic Polish – ‘Dragon Tears’

Made with a scattered holographic multitone pigment, the colour shifts through green, blue, purple, red & peach and even looks copper at some angles and also has¬†a spattering of tiny silver holo micro glitter to finish off the look – not too many, just the perfect amount as to not dull the colour shift. The consistency is pretty thin so it flows on nicely and three coats result in a smooth, brushstroke free finish. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m pretty sure that it would look equally stunning over black or a dark colour to create a different look.

If you haven’t come across ‘Tonic’ before I highly recommend that you check them out they have such unusual shades you will fall in love. They haven’t been around all that long – I believe that they started trading last year but it is my belief¬†that they are definitely ones to watch!

Masura Mint Breeze review

Today I have on Masura ‘Mint Breeze‘ from The Golden Collection. ¬†This Russian polish is a truly magical scattered holographic jelly in a stunning mint¬†green shade. I saw another blogger describe this as having the appearance of powdered precious stones and I couldn’t agree more. It covers in three layers and jelly nature allows the sparkles to shine through each layer, creating maximum ‘in your face’ sparkle!
